cOFM – cerebral OFM 

  • cOFM Probes are membrane free Push-pull type probes with macroscopic openings
  • cOFM allows sampling of Peptides, Proteins, Antibodies, Lipophilic Substances, Bound and Unbound Drugs, Enzymes, Nanocarriers, Vesicles and Cells
  • cOFM Probe allows blood-brain barrier (BBB) re-establishment within 14 days after probe implantation.
  • cOFM allows sampling of drugs and endogenous substances in brain tissue with an intact BBB.
  • cOFM allows continous monitoring of BBB intactness.
  • cOFM allows continuous monitoring of drug transport across the intact BBB.
  • cOFM allows long-term monitoring for up to 30 days.

BASi offers 2 complete cOFM setups:

  1. cOFM in freely moving rodents.
  2. cOFM in anesthetized animals (optimimzed setup for sampling of highly lipophilic or sticky molecules).
