Blood Collection Vials and Tubes

When collecting blood in laboratory animals, it is important to have the right size vials. This is especially true for rodent blood collection where the blood collection volumes are small. Adding small amounts of blood to a large vial can cause lysing and can also make it difficult to collect serum for analysis.

The vials below are all compatible with our Culex® Automated Blood Sampling System, although they can be used for manual PK sampling studies as well. We offer a variety of sizes and additives, including EDTA, Heparin and Serum vials. See here if you are looking for plain vials for extracellular fluid collection.
