Our team at BASi Research Products and our partners at Inotiv are monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and reviewing our business processes on a regular basis. The current situation continues to have impacts on our business, and we want to be as transparent as possible about how that will affect our customers. Our production is fully operational. This is true for both the products and the contract research services components of our business.
However, BASi Research Products is being impacted by global supply chain issues, as well as travel restrictions resulting from the pandemic.
Global Supply Chain
While domestic and international factories and suppliers have reopened, we are starting to experience aftermath in the form of material shortages. These shortages may result in:
We remain committed to providing high-quality research products, at a reasonable price and on a reasonable timeline. We will continue to address these issues as quickly and thoroughly as possible when they arise. We are asking our customers to continue to communicate with our Client Services and Sales Team when designing your study. The more clarity we have of your study design and timeline, the better prepared we can be.
Travel Restrictions
US Travel- Travel has opened in the US, we are reaching out to set up service visits. We will work with each company to determine a timeline and a plan that focuses on safety and well-being of our staff and of the site we are visiting. Please note that many flights are being delayed or cancelled and we will work with you to find a mutually agreeable solution.
International Travel- Travel is still restricted in some locations. We will follow guidance from US governmental authorities for travel recommendations. We will also take into account the safety concerns and well-being of our traveling staff as we consider travel to international locations. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible to make sure that customers are supported. This may mean that we provide services virtually, or that we organize equipment exchanges to ensure that instrument stays in good working order. If you have any questions on how this impacts you, then please reach out to our Client Services Team at basi@basinc.com for assistance.
