BASi is the first CRO to offer LDTD (Laser Diode Thermal Desorption) technology to its sponsor companies. This innovative technique introduces samples into the mass spec via a rapid laser thermal desorption process, where ionization is effected by an atmospheric pressure chemical ionization reaction. Samples are fully analyzed 10 to 20 times faster than with current LC-MS/MS systems – without compromising accuracy.
