BASi Syringe Pump Controllers

BASi syringe pumps are modular systems that consist of a syringe pump drive and a drive controller. Two controller configurations are available for use with BASi Syringe Pump Drives: the Worker and the Hive. The Worker Controller offers easy set-up and great mobility. The Hive Controller provides the capability to independently control up to four syringe pumps from one Controller. This makes it not only flexible and powerful, but also very cost-effective. Syringe drives purchased separately.

The Worker Controller

• The compact Worker Controller connects to a single Syringe Pump Drive by a cable and offers switch-selectable flow rates ranging from 0.1 µL/min to 100 µL/min (based on a one mL syringe)
• 16-step speed selection includes settings of 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 8, 10, 20, 50 and 100 µL/min (based on a one mL syringe)
• Flow rates calibrated to 60 mm calibration length syringes, but alternative syringes can be easily substituted
• Ideal for labs needing an easy-to-use one syringe (or three syringe (see MD-1002)) pump

The Hive Controller

• Equivalent to four Worker Controllers in a single component
• Control up to four BASi Syringe Pump Drives at independent and discretely variable flow rates
• Packaged with 4 connecting cables of varying lengths to promote flexibility (3ft, 6ft, 8ft, and 10ft)
• Utilizing 10’ (3 meter) cables, the syringe pump drive can be positioned up to that far from the Controller
