Force Plate Actimeter
An innovative new product for objective quantification of laboratory animal behavior.
The Force Plate Actimeter measures behavior with much finer spatial and temporal resolution than laser based devices. Multiple behaviors can be studied in the same freely moving animal. Quantify locomotor activity, startle, ataxia, focused stereotypies (head bobbing, grooming, rearing, scratching, etc.), tremor, seizure, and more.

- Accommodates animals from 15-500 g
- 44 x 44 cm surface area inside the enclosure
- Ventilated sound attenuating chamber for looking at fine motor activity
- 1 mm spatial and 0.01 second temporal resolution
- Frequency resolution up to 25 Hz
- Easy to clean plate and animal enclosure
- Independent height adjustment of force transducers and animal enclosure for easy setup
