EC epsilon Updates and Upgrades

Updates

EC epsilon Updates can be downloaded for free here. The older version software should be uninstalled before installing the latest software. In addition to a newer version of the Windows software, these updates may include newer firmware that must be updated in a separate step after the installation.

Upgrades

The EC epsilon is designed to be Upgraded as new products are developed or as ones needs increase. The following Upgrades are available. Upgrade instructions are in the epsilon Manual and available on-line here.

Order Information

EF-1676	Basic Plus Software Package. This upgrade consists of a file for upgrading the allowed techniques. The new techniques are Sampled Current Polarography, Normal Pulse Polarography/Voltammetry, Differential Pulse Polarography/Voltammetry, Square Wave Voltammetry, Linear Sweep Stripping Voltammtery, Differential Pulse Stripping Voltammetry, Square Wave Stripping Voltammetry, and Double Step Chronopotentiometry.
EF-1677	Methods Package. This upgrade consists of a file for upgrading the allowed techniques. The method Sequential Techniques allows one to string together up to 6 techniques and repeat the cycle up to 999 times. A trigger out can be inserted into the cycle. Future methods to be added are Standard Addition and Calibration Curve.
EW-4960	Bi-potentiostat Upgrade. This upgrade consists of another circuit board that must be inserted into the epsilon, a file for upgrading the allowed techniques, and a cell lead for the second working electrode. The new techniques are Multi-Channel Amperometry, Multi-Channel Cyclic Voltammetry, and Multi-Channel Chronoamperometry.
