New Developments

Diabetes researchers understand the effects stress can have on the outcome of their study. Increased stress can result in changes in both glucose and in circulating hormone levels in the systemic circulation. For ideas about how to achieve stress-free and meaningful data for your study, we invite you to read our recent Applications Capsule,  Oral Glucose Tolerance via Portal Vein Sampling

Culex Users Forum

Almost one year ago, BASi revamped the Culex Users Forum. The forum is open to users only, and requires a user name and password to enter. If you did not receive your password, or if you would like to have your lab colleagues added to the forum, please email to request access.

The users forum provides a safe and convenient place to share information, but it will need you and your ideas to keep it relevant. Do you have a question about reasonable blood volumes? Perhaps you would like to start sampling from mice, or guinea pigs, or primates? Do you want to integrate Safety Pharm parameters into your studies? All of this information can be at your fingertips, just by posting a question, suggestion, or comment on the website.

To help you track the discussions on the forum, it is possible to subscribe to forums or to individual topics. Once you have subscribed, you will receive automatic updates whenever there is any activity on that forum. To subscribe to individual forums:

  1. Go to  www.Culex.net
  2. Select Culex Users at the bottom of the Index Table on the right side of the page.
  3. Login with your User Name and Password. (Don't have one? Email us and we'll get you set up.)
  4. Choose the forum or the topic that you are interested in following.
  5. On the left side of the page, under the first red header, you will see a link to Subscribe. Click this link.
  6. You are now subscribed to the topic and will be notified via e-mail any time a new post is added.
  7. While you're in the forum, post a question or a suggestion for us.
