BASi In Vivo Newsletter - November 2009
Learn more about the newest members of the Culex® Family
The Culex® Automated In Vivo Sampling System is an amazing product that allows you to simultaneously collect a variety of data from a single, freely moving animal. However, we recognize that not all researchers are interested in an integrative pharmacology approach. For scientists that would like to focus their efforts on blood collection only, BASi is proud to introduce the new Culex ABC and Culex-L ABC products.
Stop by and see the new Automated Blood Collection (ABC) units at the National AALAS meeting, details below. If you can’t make it to the meeting, you can find out more online at www.Culex.net.
A useful update for researchers using the Raturn®
In the past, researchers using the Raturn® movement responsive caging system could only collect activity when connected to a Culex® Controller or Empis Automated Dosing System. The new Raturn Activity Monitor allows you to collect rotational and rearing activity without the aid of these other systems. Collect behavioral data from up to four Stand-Alone Systems or one full Rodent Workstation. Organize and Analyze the data with the Animal Activity Analysis software included with your hardware purchase.
